The course contains rolling hills the entire way. There are no major climbs but some moderately challenging sections. Two bridges have been built, so creek crossings are at a minimum. The course will be open for 10 hours.

Keep to the right to stay on Pine Torch Loop. 1.20 13.72 Trail comes out on FSR 254 to cross a creek at a bridge. 3.46 17.18 Aid Station #3.
